Sasha's 18th
Here's a video of Sasha's 18th.
It's been sitting on my computer for a couple of years to be edited so I've just got round to it!
Enjoy :)

Lenan's 27th Birthday
Lenan turned 27 this weekend and we had a BBQ at his place followed by some CS, Wii, and Poker action.
Last hand came down to Glenn and Jay. The pot was split with Jay taking the majority of the share out of respect for Manoy Glenn :) Good boy Jay, your parents taught you well :P

Lately
Lately I've been addicted to Facebook poker... even been playing during my lunch breaks at work with the rest of my colleagues as well as the boss.
The opening ceremony is on right now but I don't have an antenna here at home so just chillin'
It was Lenan's birthday yesterday and mum cooked up a feast... was gooooooood!
Anyway, I stumbled upon this site that lists every blu-ray movie that has been released and is going to be released:

Sunday spent at Bunnings and Scoresby
Sunday. It "should" be for resting. But not for Wong and I this weekend.
We're rushing to get stuff done before we move in next week!

T-minus 8 days
8 days to go before Wong and I move into my property in Scoresby.
Today we bought our washing machine, and vaccuum. We're almost finished with the painting of doors and frames.
Tomorrow we're getting the carpets steam cleaned.
Oh, got the phone connected too so I can get my precious internet connection setup!
Speaking of technology, here's a movie I can't wait for!!! Wall-E!

Money money money!
It seems like you can never have enough money. You always want what you don't have.
The last few weeks have been pretty tough and will only get harder. Wong and I are moving back to my Scoresby property and we've starting shopping for white goods and other stuff for the house. If you've ever had to move out, you know how quickly these type of expenses add up!
Further to that, we're organising our wedding which happens in November this year... that's less than 4 months away!
And even further to that, after my day job, I usually get home and plonk myself in front of the computer working on my photography and videography business!
There are times where I just want to do nothing an when I do nothing, I can't enjoy it because I feel guilty for being lazy, but then I procrastinate on doing the things I need to do... not sure if this may trigger myself burning out, I hope not!
*sigh*
Anyway, check out this pic. I dug it out from my archives and was one of the first photos I ever took with my dSLR whilst I was in Japan last year teaching English.
It's an HDR image overlooking the balcony of the apartment Wong and I stayed in in Nagoya, Japan.

I Miss Japan
Wong and I still reminisce the days we worked for Nova as English instructors in Nagoya, Japan.
We'll always have a place in our hearts for the wonderful and wacky Japanese culture and I'm glad I resigned from my job as a software engineer to explore the rich culture of Japan with Wong. Since we've returned, I haven't gone back to IT. I'm now in sales and find it a lot more rewarding and challenging at the same time!
Here are some pics from our stay in land of the rising sun...
Enjoy!

Port Campell with Minnie and Nick
It was the Queen's birthday long weekend for Victoria and Wong and I spent it with our good friends, Nick and Minnie in Port Campbell (Great Ocean Road).
We stayed there for 3 days, 2 nights at South Ocean Villas.
We fished off the Port Campbell jetty and caught 6 Trevally on the 2nd day using Pilchard for bait.
On the 3rd and last day, we used one of the Mackerels that Minnie caught to catch 10 fish in total (Trevallies and other Mackerels).
Wong cooked a great roast on the first night, but nothing can beat what Minnie and Nick whipped up together!! We were treated to Japanese style cooking! Home made Gyoza (special mixture of mince, chives, and other herbs wrapped in a soft dumpling like wrapping which was then fried and steamed). The chicken wings were to die for too! And to top it off, I had put in the oven 3 of the 6 Trevallies we caught on the 2nd day. Let me just say that we were all SLEEEEEEEPY after that mega meal! It was THE BEST!!
We also stopped by a cheese farm on the way back to Melbourne which offered a selection of delicious organic cheeses... yummmmm!
